I'm having some issues playing back DV footage in a quicktime file. On the Preferences>Playback page, the Framerate achieved is 30.0601 or somewhere in that range. However, when playing back either in the viewer or in the compositer my fps is about half that. I can play back the footage at full frame rate in Mplayer.

I had some playback issues once before and I seem to remember that they were audio related and I was able to fix them. So I tried changing the audio driver and playing back the footage each time (after restarting Cinelerra, of course) and nothing seemed to help. In my searches on the Cinelerra mailing list I see suggestions to disable the audio to find out for sure, but I can't seem to figure out how to do this, other than dropping it on the timeline and disabling playback of the first two audio tracks.

I last extensively used Cinelerra last Fall for a short film project. I have since reloaded the OS twice, once due to hard disk failure from power surges and again when I decided to upgrade to Mandriva 2006.

I also found out that having the project file's audio sample rate set to something different than what Cinelerra itself is set to can cause problems, so I made sure that the project sample rate is the same as the source footage (48000)

For the past two or three days I have searched the Cinelerra mailing list archive at Lurker as well as tried my Google-Fu, in weeks past I found various posts talking about how to fix performance problems, but seem to be unable to find them now that I actually need them.

Here are screenshots of various preferences, format, and info screens:

BTW, I am using Cinelerra 2.0CV, build date June 8, 2006 00:04:09
Quicktime version 2.1.0
Libmpeg3 version 1.6.0
