So do you think changing to 48kHz would fix the problem? I can't test
it right now since I am rendering a large file at the moment.
I guess it is broken by 44.1 because all the things that went wrong were
'12bit' instead of '16bit' audio.
No i don't think any of this is the problem. The problem is intermitent
static and is not known to relate to specific formats or settings. It
began occurding when the DV render code (which never worked) was being
repaired. The job was not quite finished. It was reported to Richard
Baverstock who was doing that work. He agreed there was a problem but
obviously has had no time to fix it. On the other hand the video
component of DV output now works really well thanks to his efforts.
