It seems libavcodec is needed, dunno which distro you're
running....search for these libs (libavcodec y devel 2) and try
again.....better if you past error with pastbin.com

Anyway, I have decided to uninstall it as it was an RPM install, and it
never ran successfully on my computer, and start again with an install
from source code.
So far, I have downloaded the latest stable svn version and cannot get
past an error
which is
