ok, Alex

thx, indeed....i'll send you a private mail to register myself right now

Vale

Hi everyone,

After a long wait, I've finally had the time to move the Cinelerra Wiki to
a decent ISP. The new server now sits connected to a line with plenty of
bandwidth and speed to handle the growing load. (instead of my punny home
cable connection)

While at it, I upgraded to Twiki 4.0.4 so to enable security and anti-spam
meassures.

In the last years , spam has become a mayor issue. (the gist of it: people
register, and then post links to their spam sites) and the worst part, is
that the spam is actually being introduced by humans (rather than
spam-robots), so a lot of the automated anti-spam measures can be defeated

Anyway, the fact is that I have no way to know, which of the current
accounts are real and which are spamers, so I am planning to *wipe clean*
the registration list , and then let people *re-register*, except that
this time, I will monitor the registration process, and personally screen
the approval process.

So, fur past wiki conributors, If you wish to keep your existing Cinelerra
twiki account, please send me an email ( alex _at_ ftconsult _dot_ com )
asking so, and if I recognize you from the list, I will do so. otherwise,
wait till I activate the new server , and re-register the normal way.

I apologise for the inconvinience that this creates and for taking so long
to do it, but this year I been *way* to busy with work & family to get
anything done.

Regards
Alx.
