I can do everything I can imagine. Cinelerra /has/ deficiencies with respect to "accessability of features". And it is lacking support for the organisation of larger projects (many clips, several bins, separate timeline for each segment of a project, keywords, searching for clips etc.) I want two point out two *advantages* of Cinelerra, which are very important to me: 1) at the time I worked with Premiere, I always felt queasy because I couldn't get final definitive answers to what "it" does for a given function. Of course, there are communities for premiere as well, but there I only got lots of opinions and guessings. For Cinelerra this is quite different, because there is the source code and if unsure, I can look and see what "it" is doing. And if I can't (because I am lacking special knowledge), then there are others in the community which can. 2) The session files are plain text. I can check them into my private Subversion, the format is self-documenting, I can repair them with a simple text editor, if necessary.
