I describe something similar to add FFMPEG parameters on the pipe line
in my doc here:
http://content.serveftp.net/video/renderTest/guideToCinExport.html

Look for the section towards the bottom called "Combining a pre-existing
audio file with a new video stream"  You'd do something similar w/the
mpeg2enc pipe.

Don't know about the max frame size, though.
