I had a quick look at that some time ago, but I think it will really be
hard to do.
libquicktime is a fork from quicktime4linux, and nowadays the api's are
different. So, to do that you'll have to deal with lots of #ifdef's.
As qt4lin and cinelerra are from hv, we can assume that they will
always work together, and adding the #ifdef will give extra work when
merging cinelerra releases from hv. I'm not sure if the people doing
this work will like it ;)
Another idea, that imho will be simpler, would be to add another
container for lqt, that will more or less duplicate the code of the
qt4lin one but will support lqt.
Anyway, I'm not sure if this would solve your problem because I don't
know if qt4lin is only a container for cinelerra or is used as a
central part for video processing; maybe people with more knowledge on
that can enlighten us ;)
