I've been trying to install Cinelerra on my fresh install of ubuntu Edgy.
I added these lines to sources.list:

deb http://www.kiberpipa.org/~muzzol/cinelerra/bin/ ./
deb http://www.debian-multimedia.org/ sid main

But when i do sudo apt-get install cinelerra i get an error about
installing libquicktimehv.

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
cinelerra: Depends: libquicktimehv (>= 1:2.1.0) but it is not going to
be installed
Depends: libquicktimehv (= 1:2.1.0-2svn20061104) but it is
not going to be installed
E: Broken packages

I've downloaded the file manually, but when i install it using dpkg -i i
get this:

dpkg: dependency problems prevent configuration of libquicktimehv:
 libquicktimehv depends on libfaad2-0 (>= 2.5); however:
Version of libfaad2-0 on system is 2.0.0+cvs20040908+mp4v2+bmp-0ubuntu3.
dpkg: error processing libquicktimehv (--install):
 dependency problems - leaving unconfigured
Errors were encountered while processing:
 libquicktimehv

I know there's a workaround for this, but i've forgot it. So if anyone can
tell me?

But i think that isn't the way to solve things. This shouldn't be
neccessary. Can't this be solved in a proper way?

Regards.

Jeroen
