Dear Users,
I have edited my first clip in HDV with proxy-files workflow.
the idea is to have a project with HDV files AND some rescales copies
(i used 50% mjpeg) of them as resources. Editing was done with
mjpegs and then project file was appropriately modified to use HDV-s.
----I will describe in details this process in near future!----
It worked fine. DV-speed of editing and HDV output.

There were few issues:
- xml from cinelerra is not valid xml
- for some reason when editing mjpegs, the fade transition in OpenGL
did not work in RGBA and YUVA modes. It worked, sometimes with
color models without Alpha. Strange!
But still it is a success story. I think that such proxy could be once
built in
cinelerra. I should not be difficult. I DO NOT SEE any changes to get
resonable
speed with MPEG2 1080i soon....
Interesting: OpenGL was a crucial element as my project, even with proxies
was always 1440x1080 and camera_z was set to 2.0. Try it in soft....
