The basic renderfarm setup is to split your entire timeline into the number of render files you specify. The rule of thumb is 2 to 3 jobs per node, so you might pick 9 jobs for a 3 node renderfarm. In that case, the final result is 9 sections of your final output. Except for theora/vorbis, it's really only a benefit if you have a lot of effects that take heavy processing, and you are using a codec that will streamcopy cleanly (so you can quickly patch the pieces all back together into one file with cinelerra.) -- Kevin _______________________________________________ Cinelerra mailing list [email protected] https://init.linpro.no/mailman/skolelinux.no/listinfo/cinelerra
