In Cinelerra everything (projects as well as resources) is loaded in the same place (file->load). So you must be careful not to overwrite the project while loading a new clip.
When loading xml project file select "replace curent project", when loading clip select "Create new resources only". In this way a new resources will be created in resources window which you can select from the "view" pull down menu. I would recomend you to read through the manual (link bellow) so you will better understand Cinelerra's interface and it's features. All the best Miha > Where and how, in which window?
