Hi Markus,
Thanks for this. Did you test it? I don't think it will work in an RPM build,
since the make dist tar file will not contain svn information (the version
information that the buildinfo command uses.)
I went and extended the buildinfo functionality so we could pass a version tag
from the configure line directly.
