Summary: AAC audio .mov files not compliant
           Product: Cinelerra
           Version: 2.1
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: Medium
         Component: Rendering
        AssignedTo: [email protected]
        ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Currently using cinelerra 2.1 (not the cvs version, for the moment)
The aac audio in a mov file seems to be not fully correct ofr other media
tools.
ffmpeg (all versions, last cvs too) complains about :
frame decoding failed: Pulse coding not allowed in short blocks
Error while decoding stream #0.1
while MP4Box (gpac.sourceforge.net)
say (info option)
WARNING: Broken MPEG-4 Track
for the audio part of the file

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. take any dv .mov file (form kino or dvgrab)
2. load it under cinelerra and render it in .mov, with aac audio
3. try to play or decode the file with ffmpeg, mplayer or MP4Box (or even
better quicktime in windows....always complain about the audio codec)

Actual Results:
aac audio is not decoded correctly in the tools exposed (ffmpeg, MP4Box,
mplayer...)

Expected Results:
Don't know, but the file should be "compliant" with, at least ffmpeg and
mplayer....
