Of Cin, yes, I built all platforms from the same RPM/source package.
The libdvs are different. The one I have trouble with is the x86_64
packman package of 1.0.0. Backdating to the openSUSE libdv package of
0.104 made the crash disappear. I haven't investigated much further
yet. A backtrace of the crashed cin showed a libdv function, with no
other symbol names in the lower stack frames. I tried to repeat that,
but now I am only seeing stack frames with '??' as the names. However,
backdating to the older libdv still fixes the problem.
I've attached the console dump in case it is useful.
