I have learnt... it seems you need gettext-devel installed to do a compile (it contains autopoint). Someone may want to update the doco.
Also, note that the wiki seems to have converted all the "--" (that's two hyphens) into one ndash, so one cannot paste from the wiki onto the command line. Maybe better to use code tags. ...... Note this is all on a x86_64 install (FC6) so there may be some sort of 64-but vs 32-bit issue. Any ideas for either of these?
