Ries,
I think we may have talked about this over IRC last week.  I run
Cinelerra on my MacBook Pro via Fedora Core 6 on VMware Fusion.
Parallels had given me a kernel panic.

Because it is a virtual machine, it will run much slower than native.
However, it does fill a gap if you really need to run Cin on your mac
and don't want to fuss with an OSX install.
