Hi Yannick! I have something for little David: ACQUA. It's a stop-motion animation (decoupage) made by a class of 22 7y olds. It's a documentary about the cycle of water.
It's very clear to adults that its goal is education, not video quality. Still, children seems to enjoy it. It is made by kids for kids. Petit David can watch it at http://www.archive.org/details/RaffaellaTraniello2BRoncagliaAcqua_ I'm staying in this thread because it is about children movies and moreover because it says to the Community: "Thanks for your help!" Ciao Raffaella Note: I imported the .jpg still pictures (1520x1152) as a list using IMG2LIST. This way one scene made of several stills behaved like a common video edit. When I rendered it to Quicktime for Linux (MPEG4/Twos complement) I noted a bad video quality, especially during cross dissolve. Moving to H.264 gave me a stunning video quality but also a stunning green bar under the video. My favourite formats are now OGG Theora/Vorbis (very good and adjustable quality) and .mpg for DVDs. _______________________________________________ Cinelerra mailing list [email protected] https://init.linpro.no/mailman/skolelinux.no/listinfo/cinelerra
