I could use the time average effect to perform my analysis instead of motion tracking. (See my posts about motion tracking.) I don't actually need to associate locations with times, so maybe I can use the time average to generate a single image and then analyze the saturation to determine where the mouse was. I tried doing a time average, and Cinelerra crashed, does anyone have any advice on how to do make it not crash? And does this idea makes sense?
