If cinelerra loads the AVI at all, you can play with the nudge settings. http://cvs.cinelerra.org/docs/split_manual_en/cinelerra_cv_manual_en_7.html#SEC109 If the file plays correctly, you can paste the corresponding amount of silence in front of either the audio of video track.
