Dear all,
I have recently found that ffmpeg support DNxHD decoding and encoding,
as well
as MXF demuxing (don't know about mux).
Since it seems that this codec and container are considered as "pro", it
should
be nice to see them supported by cinelerra!
Seconded. There are already Cinelerra users hanging around on the
mailing list and/or IRC channel who have cameras that record DVCPROHD
in an MXF container.
DVCPROHD is not _temporally_ compressed (no keyframes or GOPs),
so it is much more suitable for editing than e.g. HDV is.
