This worked like a champ once I realized that there was an "e" missing
in the line above :) Another 5 minutes out the door *sigh*. I also had
to upgrade my kernel so anyone running a vanilla install of Fedora 8
should be ready to re-install kernel-devel and nvidia drivers if
necessary. I will have to be careful with future kernel upgrades as I
guess this fix will break if I do that. Hopefully there is a permanent
fix soon. I would say with this that FC8 is ready to go. Thanks

Both capture and playback worked as expected. If you need further
