I did some research looking for appropriate wiki engine to be used for
documentation purposes and settled with pmwiki (http://pmwiki.org/),
but for my own purposes 'cause there was no consensus to move from
dokuwiki/texinfo :-)

Sales points: there is Wikipublisher
(http://www.wikipublisher.org/wiki/) plugin which enables one to
publish the whole/part of the site as pdf using latex engine while most
other wikis use htmldoc which is pale in comparison and htmldoc do not
have support for utf-8.

By using Wiki Trails
(http://www.wikipublisher.org/wiki/index.php?n=PmWiki.WikiTrails)

it's easy to select which part of the site one wants to publish.

otoh, http://openfacts2.berlios.de/html2wiki/ provides easy way to
convert html static pages into different wiki dialects ;)

Sincerely,
Gour
