Mmmm.... that seems odd, because I do use dv1394 and raw1394 with success here. I do use this script here http://estudiolivre.org/tiki-index.php?page=Captura+de+V%C3%ADdeo&bl#Um_procedimento_bem_simples_tutorial_1_, but raw1394, at least for capturing, works fine under kino for me =) Even without using this script, dv1394 as far as I remembered also worked ok - without the camera controls, though. rock on, flavio
