I can confirm this bug, even after updates to the latest gutsy from gliss.tv, I
get illegal instrustion, core dumped. Following
http://www.cim.mcgill.ca/~dudek/206/gdb.html yielded the following stack trace:

Core was generated by `cinelerra'.
Program terminated with signal 4, Illegal instruction.
#0  0xb7b1e1e4 in cmodel_init_yuv () from /usr/lib/libquicktimehv-1.6.0.so.1
(gdb) bt

#5  0x08287ffe in MWindow::show_splash ()
#6  0x0828ccef in MWindow::create_objects ()
#7  0x0825784f in main ()

So it seems to be something in libquicktimehv... Anything else I can do here to
help with this bug? I'm not tooo knowledgeable, but I learn fast.
