hi,
you can use the SlackBuild to compile cinelerra by yourself in a slackware.
try this:
# wget
http://slack.sarava.org/packages/slackware/noarch/simplepkg-0.6pre10-noarch-1rha.tgz
# installpkg simplepkg-0.6pre10-noarch-1rha.tgz
# createpkg --sync
# createpkg -i cinelerra
then cinelerra sould be compiled and installed.
feedback is apreciated ;)
bye,

Thanks for your input.
We also had problems with Slackware 12 and stayed with Slackware 11 and an
older version of cinelerra 2.0 that has proven to be very good for my work.
This version was taken from Rafael's site.
If you find a solution to this please let us know.
If you want to know more about our setup please drop a line.

Hello,
I just installed a Pre-Built Cinelerra Package (built by Rafael Diniz)
on my Slackware 11.0 installation.
I have installed all required packages and libs, but when i try to start
cinelerra i get this message:
cinelerra: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/libquicktimehv-1.6.0.so.1:
undefined symbol: faacDecOpen
Does anyone have an idea what´s wrong, older packages worked on older
slackware versions.
Thanks for any info,
