Ok Tried, sudo apt-get install cinelerra in terminal as per
instructions. Did not work.
Under third party I had entered http://gis.tv/~vale/ubuntu32 ./
Something wrong with this??
Reply I recieved in terminal:
reading package list... done
building dependancy tree
reading state information...done
cinelerra is already the newest version.
0 upgrade.0 newly installed.0 to remove and 1 not upgraded.
Tried to find something like this reply in Ubuntu book but did not find
it so I don't know what it means. I tried to open but Cinelerra will not
open
What to do now?
Thanks Doug

Hi all,
I would be thankful for help here. I brought Cinelerra into Ubuntu
with synaptic and clicked on sound & video, video production and
found the Cinelerra icon. Now what command to I use to install in
terminal ? I have installed Ubuntu 7.10 on an ix86 HP pavillian
a720n
Thanks Doug
