Hi folks,

        My camera records 16:9 video, and it is grabbed to my computer as a
MPEG2 16:9 aspect video. The information saved in this sort of file uses
720x576 PAL resolution, but a player like mplayer looks the 16:9 flag
and knows that it is a anamorphic video and do the DAR correction to
1024x576 PAL.

        http://www.doom9.org/aspectratios.htm

        16:9 DAR correction => 576*(16/9)=1024

        My problem start at info asset from Resource window doesn't show aspect
ratio. When I try to watch 16:9 aspect mpeg2 video in the Viewer window,
only a piece from the whole screen is showed.

        Ok, the Resource and Viewer window is not very important, but at
Compositor window the same happens, I watch the video without the DAR
correction, 720x576, I don't talk about 4:3 resolution, because there is
a DAR correction for 4:3

        4:3 DAR correction => 576*(4/3)=768

        My target is to render to 360x204 (16/9) .mov file, but I can't get it
without cutting top-bottom pieces from the original video. Am I doing
anything wrong? How can I do it?

Thanks a lot.
