I am an user also (not a coder at all) but very enthusiatic about opensource video editing stuff (I also work for a Matrox reseller and i teach adobe CS3 tools, wired isn´t it?), and I am currently trying to HELP (because complaining takes much energy from me) and bring some of my knowledge to this world, I started GVFX project (http://gvfx.blogpot.com/) trying to bring some HOLLYWOOD FX wich could be compatible with all Open source tools. the idea is to use BLENDER as an EXTERNAL PACKAGE to do 3d transitions, put filters (you have to render there), and 3D DVD menus to EXPORT DIRECT TO DVD and burn, but I can´t code anything, just make artwork. the thing is, users CAN DO THINGS, specially if you ALREADY USE premiere, so I would LOVE to know about your experience as an user, and maybe we (USERS) can at some point conribute to this project, and not just WAIT until something come up like NEXT YEAR.
