I have the same trouble when editing HD mpegs, mainly what I record off the
airwaves. When there's even the smallest glitch in the video, the audio gets
out of sync when encoding and rendering. I have to encode down to NTSC, so I
can match the bitrate in cinelerra that I've encoded into the video.

Since I like to record to DVD, I just write the glitchiest videos to be played
on their own rather than have it mess up a good edit.

Hi there,

I can't get a good performance out of cinelerra while playing mpeg2-ps
videos. The same video is played with no other problem in any player like
mplayer, xine, ...
The problem is around a not synchronized video and audio and it happens even
with no effects. I've tried all sort of settings with no luck.
