Hi,
Has anybody had any success capturing dv video with the new firewire modules
(kernels 2.6.22+ I think) and dvgrab or kino?
The only solution I have found so far is here (bottom of the page)

and suggests removing new firewire- modules and reloading old ***1394 modules
which is sort of going backwards :(
