Hi Aaron, Good stuff. However, I think the one statement: "The new NLE will be developed separately but based on the existing Cinelerra code base which will continue to be developed by Heroine Virtual."
Needs to read something more like: "The developers of the new NLE will create an optimized codebase based upon much of the feature set of Cinelerra. Cinelerra will continue to be developed by Heroine Virtual." I make that clarification because your original statement makes it sound as if Lumiera is based upon the HV codebase. Rather, it is the features of Cinelerra that Lumiera will try to emulate/expand upon/make better. cheers, scott -------------- Original message ---------------------- From: "Aaron Newcomb" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > I finally had time to do a brief blog post this morning on the name change. > > http://www.thesourceshow.org/node/89 > > I posted it to LXer and Digg. > > http://digg.com/linux_unix/Welcome_Lumiera > > If anything is inaccurate or needs to be added please let me know. > > -- > Thanks, > Aaron Newcomb > http://www.thesourceshow.org > http://www.opennewsshow.org > > _______________________________________________ > Cinelerra mailing list > [email protected] > https://init.linpro.no/mailman/skolelinux.no/listinfo/cinelerra _______________________________________________ Cinelerra mailing list [email protected] https://init.linpro.no/mailman/skolelinux.no/listinfo/cinelerra
