I have a raw dv file with silent sound tracks. I want to use a wav file
to add the sound tracks. I add the wav file as a resource and add it to
the sound tracks.
When I render back to a new raw dv file, there are periods of silence in
the sound tracks. These periods of silence also occur when I try to
render to other audio types like mp3 and ac3. The periods of silence are
not in the original wav file.
Any ideas?
Have you tried rendering the mixed audio out as a new wav file, or an Ogg
Vorbis file? Do you still get the periods of silence with those formats?
Yes and yes. Both come out with the silent areas. They are toward the
end and occur in the same place for the same duration in both the new
wav file and the ogg file.
