Hi,

I've got a couple of questions about rendering video.

My first problem, is that when I render my project, the audio and video become
asynchronous. The further in the avi, the more they fall apart. I render to
microsoft avi, mpeg4, mp3 audio. Is there a common cause for this? During
editing, it's fine.

In trying to circumvent this, I tried rendering to a pnglist and wav file, and
encode them using mencoder. This is the way I want to render my future
projects anyway BTW, because Cinellera doesn't seem to have any coder that has
a quality and configurability I can live with. But anyway, when I do this, the
video is slightly behind the audio. It doesn't get worse when it's playing, it
stays fixed at about .3 seconds. How can this be? One could think that
mencoder removes empty audio or video frames or something like it, but there
are none, so that can't be it.

And lastly, when rendering to PNGs, the result is a bit too bright.

I appreciate any help you can give. I'm just getting to know Cinelerra, so it's
all still a big mystery to me :)

I use cinelerra-cvs-20080401

Regards,

Wiebe Cazemier
