Well, I have received a WMV video made by a friend of mine, on a Windows computer, and want to play it on my Zen Vision W. But the resolution is too high for the Zen Vision W to be able to play it. I have tried this kind of command line: mencoder -of lavf -oac copy -ovc lavc -vf scale=320:240 -o video_small.wmv video.wmv This produces a WMV file of the correct screen resolution, but Xine has problems playing it (it plays the original correctly), claiming that the frame rate has dropped considerably. The Zen Vision W refuses to even start playing it. Am I doing something wrong with mencoder?
