Hey guys, it looks like the media I'm trying to load
is AVI with 8-bit ulaw audio, but Cinelerra thinks
it's 8-bit linear. As a result the audio is horribly
garbled and useless. Any idea how I can trick
Cinelerra into recognizing the right format? Here's
what mplayer prints out about the audio track (btw -
it's video from a Canon digital camera):

Forced audio codec: mad
Opening audio decoder: [pcm] Uncompressed PCM audio
decoder
AUDIO: 11024 Hz, 1 ch, u8, 88.2 kbit/100.00% (ratio:
11024->11024)
Selected audio codec: [pcm] afm: pcm (Uncompressed
PCM)

I just installed Cinelerra version 2.1CV on Ubuntu
Feisty.  Thanks!
