Here's what I can tell: Aragon Gouveia sent a diff to at least rafael2k and me against r1042 that should make Cinelerra build on FreeBSD 7.0. I tried it on a Qemu image of an up-to-date FreeBSD 7.0. Here's the results. When I use ./autogen.sh, it does not compile. It starts, but on linking libmpeg3, make throws out an error about references to missing functions. When I use the way described in the manual (autoreconf -i), after I run ./configure, there's no Makefile, because of missing libuuid. But it might as well be an error on my part. Perhaps you should contact Aragon if he doesn't jump in on this thread. > I'm interested on building cinelerra on bsd because I'd like > to build a python online scripting interface to run cinelerra > on a remote render farm (with native computer farm software or > samba) and make it available on the net to groups of users > interested on using professional opensource editing software. > Imho it would be nice to study the online tool on the needing > of thoose groups. You could already do that using the Linuxulator, I guess. But native Cinelerra would still be great of course. pseudoruprecht -- My 5 today: #232095 (dolphin) Do 5 a day - every day! https://wiki.ubuntu.com/5-A-Day
