Well, I loaded up the ogg file in Cinelerra and it didn't give me any
errors in the console. However I got several errors in a dialog box
that said "virtual int FileOGG::read_frame(VFrame*): Expecting a
keyframe, but didn't get it". However, the file loaded just fine and
plays fine in the compositor. I am running a build of svn Compiled on
Mon May 12 12:59:53 EDT 2008. I am running Fedora 8 AMD x86_64.

If you still can't get it to work you could try using ffmpeg directly
instead of transcode. Something like

ffmpeg -i episode001_lg.ogg -sameq episode001.mp4

Actually, the mp4 version of the show loaded up very nicely as well.
However, the version I published is only 320x240 compared to 640x480
for the ogg version.
