 So you are playing back a YUV4MPEG stream?  The intent of YUV4MPEG was 
to be piped into another command, while Cinelerra was rendering.  The 
relevant encoder commands are in the mjpegtools suite.

 You will see it in the "Compression" dialog if you click on the 
wrench icon in the Render dialog. (somewhat misleading, since it 
is _not_ a compressed encoding)

 If you want it simple, just render to DV in a Quicktime container, 
then recode that to DVD with ffmpeg or mencoder.  The YUV4MPEG procedure 
is more tedious, but has slightly higher quality output (but much slower!).
