Hi,
I am trying to make a slideshow, and every time I manage to workaround
some problem, I face a new one.
Now: to make a fade-over from one picture to the other, I am using two
video tracks, and subsequent pictures are put once into the lower, once to
the upper one (I have chosen this method, because I would like to make
different zooms to the different pictures). Whenever there is a picture
placed to the upper video track, this track is faded in at the beginning
of the picture, and faded out at the end, so that there is a continuous
dissolved transition between images. However, sometimes, randomly, the
upper-lying picture abruptly disappears, and after a few frames it appears
again, so there is no smooth transition.
Maybe it has to do something with the other problem, that if I once mute a
video track ('Do not send to output'), then if later I un-mute it again,
and try to play my project, this track gets muted sometimes, at random
times. I need to many times un-mute it again, patiently, until cinelerra
believes that I really want to unmute it. Is this a known problem?
