Thanks for the response, Paolo. I removed everything I could think of including configs - faac, ffmpeg, cinelerra-generic, related libraries, etc. The only local or obsolete packages I have are akiradnews, libdvdcss2, libdvdcss2-dev, libssl0.9.7, a linux-restricted-modules package, an nvidia-kernel package, and skype.
Yours is the only repository that's checked in my third-party-sources list, and I rebooted and then reinstalled cinelerra-generic but am getting the same original error: # cinelerra cinelerra: error while loading shared libraries: libx264.so.54: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory Thanks, Pat On Tue, Jul 8, 2008 at 2:39 AM, [EMAIL PROTECTED] <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Pat Dalzell ha scritto: > >> cinelerra-generic: 1:2.1.0-1svn20080626akirad1 >> libquicktimehv-generic: 1:2.1.0-1svn20080626akirad1 >> faac: 1.26.1 >> faad: 2.6 >> >> I don't have the debian-multimedia repositories in my sources >> > I suspect that you use an incomplete upgraded version... first remove the > link to libx264 and then try to check on > synaptic>settings>repository>third-party software and disable all except my > repository ( I suggest also to check others tab for errors ) , back to > synaptic, relaod, check for local/obsolete package, press ctrl+e to all > package listed and revert to ubuntu version. > > I hope this help! > > byez > > Paolo Rampino > > _______________________________________________ > Cinelerra mailing list > [email protected] > https://init.linpro.no/mailman/skolelinux.no/listinfo/cinelerra >
