Sometimes I push "m" to mute a selection on the track. It mutes fine but I
realize I wanted to delete that part so I push "x" to cut it away. Cinelerra
freezes. I frantically push ctrl-s to save it. Which is a mistake because
when I reload my project file, it's stuck frozen. I can go back and reload
previous versions of the project just fine.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select part of the track.
2. Push "m" to mute it.
3. Push "x" to cut it.
Actual Results:
Cinelerra freezes. My mouse pointer becomes a ball swirling indefinitely.
Expected Results:
It should have cut away the track.
I'm running Ubuntu. I've stopped using mute when I need to cut. So this isn't
a big deal. Just thought it might help you eggheads who are working on this
project. I appreciate you so much.
