First not that it is any of my business. but why would u use a
compressed source as an input?
Instead you could use a an avi format or DV instead.
And second of all, why don't you try to open h264 movies in cinelerra?
Not every bit of documentation of cinelerra is well updated,
correct me if i am wrong, because last time i inserted dv vids in
cinelerra without any problem, but i could'nt find support for the files
anywhere.
btw i tried opening a x264 moviefile but didnt work maybe you get a
better shot at opening h264 files...

"i! Sorry for such question, but I could not find concrete answer. :(
Can I use h264-video as source for Cinelerra? Or I must convert it to
some other format?"
