Of course I try to use uncompressed video as source. But it requires so
much space on hdd, and in some situations compressed video may be
preferred. :)
And I want to find out what does mean all that words about "Cinelerra
can work with h264 high-definition video"? What does mean "can work"? I
got last svn version of Cinelerra, got last version of x264 library
(from Video LAN project). Configure Cinelerra to use x264 (configure
script said that he found that library), link Cinelerra against this
library (ldd saw me that), and what next? Cinelerra sais that she can't
open h264-video files (can't find codec for h264). And there're not any
actions in Cinelerra GUI related h264 video. So I don't understand how
Cinelerra works with one. :)
