There's plenty of options depending on what you need... I have a 3 foot
35mm 720p cam that cost 3k a sony hdd 1080i for a grand and I have a
handheld aiptek 1080p that cost 100 bucks... Both great cams -work in
cinelerra
I wonder if some people in the Cinelerra community would like to work on
something like an Elphel camera and use a bajonet that allows to place
'normal' lenses on them. The Elphel devices give more than HD, so the
only place to 'really' worthwile investing would be the optics.
