Hello,

I am new to this list and have a question about autogen.sh.
I checked out the svn for the first time

(svn checkout svn://svn.skolelinux.org/cinelerra/tags/r1_2_2-last/hvirtual)

and retrieved a tree in directory hvirtual.
Changing to that directory and issuing the command ./autogen.sh gave the
following result:

User defined paths to the preferred autoconf and automake versions.
Read the script if you would like to modify them.
AUTOMAKE=automake
ACLOCAL=aclocal
AUTOCONF=autoconf
AUTOHEADER=autoheader
Now building the ./configure script...
checking for automake version... 1.10.1
checking for aclocal version... 1.10.1
Running aclocal -I m4 ...
Running libtoolize ...
Running autoheader ...
Running automake ...
configure.in:8: installing `./install-sh'
configure.in:8: installing `./missing'
/usr/share/automake-1.10/am/depend2.am: am__fastdepCCAS does not appear in
AM_CONDITIONAL
/usr/share/automake-1.10/am/depend2.am: The usual way to define
`am__fastdepCCAS' is to add `AM_PROG_AS'
/usr/share/automake-1.10/am/depend2.am:   to `configure.in' and run
`aclocal' and `autoconf' again.
You should add the contents of `/usr/share/aclocal/libtool.m4' to
`aclocal.m4'.
Putting files in AC_CONFIG_AUX_DIR, `..'.
Running autoheader in libsndfile ...
autoheader: error: AC_CONFIG_HEADERS not found in configure.ac

There is no configure file after that. Something is going wrong, as is
also suggested by the log.

Can anyone give me some good advise?

Ed
