Ciao Rodolfo! > my no-sound-problem is there to stay > Any idea of what could it be??
I have a couple of ideas (based on newbies experience): 1. File rendered with no audio Open the file in Cinelerra and check you can see the waveforms. If the file has no waveforms, then it has no audio: probably it was not rendered properly. In this case, be sure you do everything right when rendering (check also the great Beginner's Guide to Exporting Video from Cinelerra, by Scott Frase at http://crazedmuleproductions.blogspot.com/2007/06/beginners-guide-to-exporting-video-from.html If your file does have audio, then it could be that you have 2. Playback problems When playing back your file make sure you have no other audio applications open (web browser included). Try playing back with several different players (they may have different codec support) Does you system playback work? Double check it with different files. Those are the most common problems, but unfortunately not the only possible ones. Hope it helps Ciao!
