Hi,
I'm trying to render a video with Cinelerra to create a DVD with
QDVDAuthor.

(At first, saying that I couldn't find any mailing list for Cinelerra
support in spanish, and my english isn't very good, so it's very
difficult for me. But I'll try)

I can edit some mpeg files that I recordered with my Sony cam. But when
rendering (as Quicktime for linux format), an error apears:
"Int FileMOV::check_codecs_param(Asset*):DV in Quicktime cointainer
doesn't support the following resolution: 352x576. Allowed resolutions
are 720x576(PAL) and 720x480(NTSC)"

The problem is that when I change the resolution to 720x576
(Settings/Format) the shape of the image also changes and it becomes
deformed, tall and thin.
So I tryied rendering (using the original resolution file 352x576) to
other file format instead of Quicktime as I used to do, but the only
good option was OGG Theora/Vorbis. It keep up the original image shape,
but then, I can't convert to AVI file or MPEG file as I need!!! (I did
it using mencoder and the image shape becomes deformed again...)

I know that the problem is my original files type (I read, googleing,
that the VR mode of recording with those cams could be the problem) but
it's all I've got!
Is there other video setting is avaiable for 352x576 or any soltion?
please!
Thanks for advanced

Quim
