I have followed the instructions at http://www.g-raffa.eu/SimAV/pip.html to create a picture-in-picture effect.
The rendered output and also cinelerra-playedback content is not right. At irregular intervals the 'small' picture gets a flash of a frame from the 'big' picture, and vice versa. This is only with original footage produced by a particular brand of camera (Helmet Hero 3). (The original footage plays right in xine and totem.) When rendering, I can see the frame-swaps happening and at the exact same time I see the error console say: "virtual int FileMOV::read_frame(VFrame*): quicktime_read_frame/quicktime_decode_video failed, result:" However, the error console says this all the time when working with this camera's footage, and in general there is no actual problem, but not this time. Any ideas?
