Yes, there is. One is to compile Cinelerra from source (not very convenient), 
the other is to install the Intrepid packages one by one into your 9.04 (which 
is not recommended for production work yet, but I guess you know that :-)

I run Jaunty on a separate partition, and installed the Cinelerra .deb 
packages from Akirad for Intrepid, and they work. Get them here:

http://akirad.cinelerra.org/pool/main-intrepid/

Start with the cinelerracv* package of your choice and add in the missing 
dependencies one by one. Make sure you pick the right ones for your system 
(i386 or amd64).
I'm sure there's a way to tweak APT to cram in the Intrepid packages of 
Cinelerra into your Jaunty system, but I don't encourage you to "fix" your 
package managment that way. Hiding that you are doing untested experimental 
stuff that may eat your children and blow up your house doesn't make it better. 
You still do untested experimental stuff.

Anyways.
