Hi Mohan,
I don't believe the Live Audio effect can be used to record a voiceover onto a
Cinelerra audio track.

My workaround was to:
Export a video file of your project from Cinelerra. Lo-res is OK.
Close Cinelerra.
Start JACK sound server.
Open the video file in Xjadeo - which stands for X-JACK-Video.
Open a JACK-enabled audio recorder - I used Ardour but you could also use
ecasound, timemachine or jackrec.
The recorder will hold sync with Xjadeo. Record your voiceover.
Export the completed audio (voiceover) track as a WAV file.
Close recorder, Xjadeo, stop JACK.
Open your Cinelerra project and import your voiceover WAV file as a new audio
track.

Hi..
Can Anybody guide me through live audio effect? I need this filter for doing
voiceover purpose.. What is the workflow? I did as said in manual.. Like adding
the filter to the audio track and played it.. doesn't happen anything.. I am
using AUDIOBOX USB Professional sound recorder, Ubuntu 8.10, Cinelerra CV.
